Because as a society, we need to address two of the most pressing issues facing our planet much more intensively: Biodiversity loss and climate change.

In Ecuador, we are committed to protect the particularly threatened tropical wet forest west of the Andes. These species-rich forests exist in many areas nowadays only as small forest fragments, which we would like to reunite into larger forest areas.

Reforestation Partner

As a Reforestation Partner, you want to make a particularly strong impact by funding natural reforestation, because you are just as convinced as we are that the earth urgently needs more forests.

Reforesting new forests is time-consuming and cost intensive. However, professional planting and care of the young trees is a prerequisite for creating a valuable forest again in the shortest possible time. Thus, for the time being, our reforestation options over five years are not about maximum CO₂ compensation, but about enabling the most impactful nature conservation project possible in the long term.

For us, reforestation means more than simply «planting trees»! Every reforestation project includes:

Forest Conservation Partner

As a Forest Conservation Partner, it is your particular concern to protect existing forests from deforestation. In this way, you can ensure that the forests that are so important for biodiversity are preserved.

Existing forests vary greatly in age and condition. Even though most of the forest fragments in our project area are marked by past human influences, they all have in common that they are extremely important refuges for animals. Forest conservation packages over five years focus besides the protection of biodiversity also on maximum CO₂ compensation.

For us, Forest Conservation means more than simply «saving forests»! Each Forest Conservation package includes:

Communication Support

Reporting about good deeds serves the project as well as your business. We support you in giving your stakeholders an authentic impression of your commitment to climate and species protection. We want to arouse emotions and at the same time show the measurable impact of the projects!

For both alternatives, Reforestation and Forest Conservation, we support your communication with additional information and materials. This includes also our partner logo to show your commitment. Even a personal presentation on site is possible.

Our reforestation packages over a five-year term ensure maximum impact! Unfortunately, the world is still deforesting much faster than it is reforesting, but for local biodiversity and the global climate, every new forest that is created is especially valuable

As a company, you can play a pioneering role with our reforestation packages!

• • Decide how many trees you want to reforest. 1’200 trees correspond to the area of one hectare (10’000 m2).
  • The bigger the package, the more communication support it includes!

We will gladly provide you with the partner flyer upon request. We place your logo on it and send you the flyer as a print file. A product page in our forest store with your company branding is also possible. This way you can motivate your customers to plant particularly impactful trees together with you!

If, for example, you would like to give a tree adoption to all your employees or customers, we would be happy to hear from you. In addition to adjusted prices, we can also offer you extended communication support, depending on the scope of the planned campaign.

Are you already strongly committed to the environment as a business and would like to make your customers and partners aware of the possibility of planting particularly impactful trees through Arbofino? That is fantastic, because together we can reach significantly more people.

As a partner to gain more tree friends we offer you the following support for your communication:

Ideas to motivate customers to plant trees:

• • Display or distribute the reforestation flyer. We place your logo on the flyer and send it to you as a print file.
  • Inform customers about our projects on your website.
  • Integrate the option to add one or more trees in the electronic check-out process or at the checkout.
  • In the e-mail signature, point out the possibility of planting trees.
  • Launch tree challenge: To keep in touch with your customers on a beautiful topic in an exciting way, you can challenge them by sharing the cost of each tree with them or fund the same number of trees as them (specifying a limit may be advisable here).

Payment procedure for customer trees:

• • The customers pay for the trees immediately through you and you transfer the amount to us periodically.
  • If you wish, we can create a product page in our forest store with your business branding. Your customers pay for the trees directly through our store.

Our Forest Conservation packages over a five-year term are enormously valuable because they save the few remaining forests from deforestation in the long term! Forests not only store large amounts of CO₂, but are also vital refuges for numerous animal species.

Although only a fraction of the original forest areas still exists, further areas are cleared year after year. This also means that important protection for numerous water sources is being lost.
